A “Texas Hold ’Em Charity Poker Tournament” to raise money for the fight against Lou Gehrig’s Disease will be held at Dino’s Sports Bar at 2 p.m. on Sunday, February 28, 2010. Players may register the day of the event at 1:30 p.m. The tournament is open to players age 21 and up, and a $50 cash donation per player is required. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and prizes for the top ten players.

SUMMER IS IN THE AIR AT THE BOAT BUILDERS’ SHOW ON CAPE COD
 The Fourth Annual Boatbuilders’ Show on Cape Cod returns to Hyannis this February 12-14 at the Resort and Conference Center at Hyannis. Over the past three years, more than 7,500 people have visited the show for the chance to see a large selection of unique, custom and limited-production boats in both wood and fiberglass, together, under one roof. This year, boaters looking for something other than off-the-rack, production boats will find more than 30 exhibitors and a large variety of custom-built sail and powerboats on display on Valentines weekend.
